On August 1st, 2024, Microsoft released a new version of Outlook, simply named “New Outlook.” This entirely new application replaces the current Outlook installed on PCs.  Starting January 6th, 2025, Microsoft will be updating users of Office365 applications, changing the default program to New Outlook automatically.  Unfortunately, there are several features that many users are familiar with in the current Outlook that New Outlook will not or currently support.  Microsoft has compiled a feature comparison between the two Outlooks, which can be found here. Because of the number of differences that can cause business interruptions, for our monthly support clients, we will remotely prevent the automatic update to New Outlook before the January 6th roll-out.
